The administrative committee of the Division I Competition Oversight Committee approved moving the NCAA National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics South Central Regional host site to Oklahoma.
Illinois was scheduled to host the event March 30-April 2, but due to a conflict within its campus community, the school is no longer able to host.
The NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Committee considered other sites from the South Central region that had previously submitted bids to host the event. Oklahoma can meet all operational and lodging requirements to serve as a host despite the short lead-time to conduct the competition.
The committee will announce the selections for the championship March 21.
